February 28, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28401 The Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) baseball got by the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Wolfpack now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Topsail for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Whiteville will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, New Hanover drops to 2-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Myers Park won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
