The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Section Lions (Section, AL) and the visiting Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), saw Section's baseball team get by Sylvania by a tally of 6-5.

The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Chattooga was tipped by Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rams face the North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 1. Sylvania will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 17-9 non-league loss to Fyffe (Fyffe, AL).
