In Friday's non-league game, the host Westfield Mustangs baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Spring Woods Tigers.

The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Fort Bend Willowridge was overwhelmed by Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX), 15-10, in a non-league game.
