The Utica Ford Falcons basketball squad (Sterling Heights, MI), was nudged 53-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI)

With the victory, Chippewa Valley advances its record to 18-6 on the year. The Big Reds travel to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 17-8. L'Anse Creuse North won 64-60 in their recent non-league battle against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI)

The Falcons now own a 17-7 record.
