February 28, 2025: Toms River, NJ 08753 Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ), 85-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Union Catholic advances its record to 14-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Monday, March 3. The Fighting Irish enter the match with a record of 15-4. Camden Catholic won 74-43 in their recent non-league match against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ)
The Griffins now own a 9-14 record.
