Indiana High School Basketball - Valparaiso fells Hammond Central

February 28, 2025: Valparaiso, IN 46385

The Valparaiso Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Hammond Central Wolves to 41 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now have a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to Merrillville for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. Valparaiso will confront a Pirates team coming off a 48-47 non-league loss to Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 5-18.

With the loss, Hammond Central falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Munster (Munster, IN) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-7. Munster won 75-21 in their recent non-league game against Whiting (Whiting, IN)
