Georgia High School Soccer - Madison County toppled by Walnut Grove
February 28, 2025: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA), 5-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Walnut Grove moves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Eastside (Covington, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-2. Eastside lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)
The Red Raiders now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Winder-Barrow for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Madison County will clash with a Bulldoggs team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 0-4.
