The East Coweta Indians lacrosse squad scored 7 points and limited the host Union Grove Wolverines to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Strong Rock Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3.

With the loss, Union Grove falls to 1-5 on the year. The Wolverines host Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA) to encounter the Wildcats in a battle on Wednesday, March 5. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Whitewater won 12-7 in their recent non-league battle against Midtown (Atlanta, GA)
