February 28, 2025: Lufkin, TX 75901 Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX), 9-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Lufkin improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Marshall (Marshall, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. The Mavericks enter the game with a record of 5-4. Marshall lost 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Arp (Arp, TX)
The Tigers now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Rudder for a game on Tuesday, March 4. A&M Consolidated will play a Rangers squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-5.
