February 28, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70508 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA), observed St. Thomas More's softball team get by Archbishop Hannan by a tally of 4-2.
The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, John Curtis Christian tipped East Ascension (Gonzales, LA), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 1. Archbishop Hannan will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, LA).
