In Friday's non-league test, the Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL), by a tally of 9-0.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Ashville will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 10-6 league loss to Westminster Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL).
