February 28, 2025: Vernon, TX 76384 The Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX) softball routed the host Vernon Lions (Vernon, TX), 19-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burkburnett for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. Borger will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Vernon drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Windthorst (Windthorst, TX) to meet the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Windthorst lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX)
