Next, the Roughnecks meet the Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. White Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Hooks (Hooks, TX).
The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Leon (Jewett, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Leon was nudged by Gatesville (Gatesville, TX), 16-0, in a non-league challenge.
