New Mexico High School Softball - Santa Teresa sneaks past Horizon
February 28, 2025: Santa Teresa, NM 88021 The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Horizon Scorpions to 6 in the Desert Warriors non-league win on Friday.
The Desert Warriors now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Santa Teresa will confront a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Horizon moves to 6-8 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Young Women's Leadership Academy (El Paso, TX) to confront the Transformers in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Transformers come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Young Women's Leadership Academy lost 13-5 in their recent non-league battle against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM)
