Texas High School Softball - New Diana sneaks past Longview
February 28, 2025: Longview, TX 75606 The New Diana Eagles softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Longview Lobos to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Tree for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. New Diana will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Longview moves to 8-5 on the season. The Lobos travel to Lindale (Lindale, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 5-3. Lindale won 5-3 in their recent non-league battle against Malakoff (Malakoff, TX)
