Texas High School Softball - San Benito edges Westlake
February 28, 2025: San Benito, TX 78586 In Friday's non-league match, the host San Benito Greyhounds softball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Westlake Chaparrals.
The Greyhounds (8-3) will now prepare for their match against College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, College Park tipped Lyford (Lyford, TX), 6-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Chaparrals battle the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 28. Westlake will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Buccaneers go into the match with a 6-4 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX).
