In Saturday's non-league bout, the Bonanza Bengals (Las Vegas, NV) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), by a tally of 10-1.

The Bengals now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sunrise Mountain for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 2.

With the defeat, Bishop Manogue falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to encounter the Cougars in a 5A Northern bout on Thursday, March 5. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 2-2.
