The Canyon Cougars baseball team (New Braunfels, TX), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hays Hawks (Buda, TX)

The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Dripping Springs got by Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX), 16-2, in a non-league contest.
