The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) and the visiting Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS), saw Clinton's baseball team gain a win over Kosciusko by a tally of 8-6.

The Arrows (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks enter the 7A Region 2 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Germantown held off Newton County (Decatur, MS), 6-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Whippets face the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 2. Kosciusko will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS).
