Texas High School Baseball - Ryan loses to Horn
February 28, 2026: Mesquite, TX 75181 Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball team beat the visiting Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX), 10-4 in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now hold a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Mesquite for a non-league test on Thursday, March 5. Horn will play a Stallions team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Stallions record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Ryan drops to 6-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to battle the Buffalos in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 5. The Buffalos come into the outing with a record of 3-9. Haltom lost 9-3 in their recent non-league outing against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)
