The Quincy Trojans nipped the host Hug Hawks baseball squad by a score of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 9. Quincy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Grizzlies go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Portola (Portola, CA).

With the defeat, Hug drops to 1-3 on the year. The Hawks host Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV) to play the Serpents in a non-league test on Saturday, March 7. The Serpents go into the test with a record of 0-0.
