In Saturday's non-league game, the host Jourdanton Indians/Squaws baseball team scored a close 14-8 win over the Pace Vikings.

The Indians/Squaws (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX). The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) go into the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Uvalde nudged Cigarroa (Laredo, TX), 7-3, in a non-league game.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 outing, on Tuesday, March 3. Pace will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX).
