ALA - Gilbert North Eagles (Gilbert, AZ) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Wolves meet the Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 28. Basic will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ).
