The South Grand Prairie Warriors triumphed over the host Bell Blue Raiders softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 battle, on Tuesday, March 3. South Grand Prairie will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Texans come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX).

With the loss, Bell moves to 3-7 on the season. The Blue raiders travel to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 4 battle on Tuesday, March 3.
