In Saturday's non-league test, the Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX), by a tally of 21-0.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 outing, on Tuesday, March 3. Lancaster will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the outing with a 4-10 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Dallas HSAA (Plano, TX).

With the loss, Sunset moves to 0-7 on the season. The Bison host Hillcrest (Dallas, TX) to face the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, March 3.
