In Saturday's non-league test, the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) softball squad got by the visiting Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX), by a tally of 6-5.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 28. Midland will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a 10-5 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX).
