The Indians now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mabank for a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. Grand Saline will face a Panthers team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. Quitman will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX).
