Louisiana High School Softball - Baker can't get by White Castle
February 29, 2024: White Castle, LA 70788 In Thursday's non-league contest, the White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA) softball team held off the visiting Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA), by a margin of 18-17.
With the triumph, White Castle moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host East St. John (Reserve, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 2. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-3. East St. John won 18-16 in their recent non-league contest against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA)
In their next game, the Buffaloes play the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 4. Baker will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 15-11 non-league loss to Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA).
