Texas High School Softball - King bounces Rockport-Fulton
February 29, 2024: Rockport, TX 78381 King Panthers (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Victoria East for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. King will battle a Titans squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Brazos (Wallis, TX). The Titans record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, Rockport-Fulton falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Bay City (Bay City, TX) to battle the Blackcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Blackcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Bay City lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX)
