The McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) softball routed the visiting Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX), 12-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Lions (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Celina was routed by Reedy (Frisco, TX), 14-8, in a non-league bout.
