In Thursday's non-league contest, the Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX), by a margin of 12-1.

With the triumph, Trinity moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Trojans host Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to play the Plainsmen in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. The Plainsmen come into the contest with a record of 5-2.
