Texas High School Softball - Rivera nudges Uvalde
February 29, 2024: Uvalde, TX 78801 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX) and the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), saw Rivera's softball squad nip Uvalde by a count of 5-4.
The Raiders now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mission for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12.
With the loss, Uvalde falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Coyotes/lobos (for girls) travel to La Grange (La Grange, TX) to face the Leopards in a non-league match on Friday, March 1. The Leopards enter the match with a record of 1-7. La Grange won 10-3 in their recent non-league match against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX)
