Oregon High School Basketball - Marist crushes North Eugene
February 3, 2022: Eugene, OR 97401 Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR), 70-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marist upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Spartans host Siuslaw (Florence, OR) to play the Vikings in a 4A Sky Em bout on Friday, February 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Siuslaw lost 53-45 in their recent league bout against Elmira (Elmira, OR)
Next up, the Highlanders play the North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) in a 5A Midwestern bout, on Tuesday, February 8. North Eugene will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 85-41 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, OR).
