February 3, 2022: Fort Dodge, IA 50501 The Pocahontas Indians basketball team (Pocahontas, IA), was overwhelmed 75-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA)
The Gaels now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clear Lake for a North Central battle on Friday, February 4. St. Edmond will confront a Lions team coming off a 53-51 non-league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Lions record now stands at 12-4.
The Indians (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, West Bend-Mallard trounced Northwest Webster (Manson, IA), 46-41, in a non-league battle.
