The Huskies now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shady Spring for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 8. Hoover will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-22 league win over Independence (Coal City, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
The Grizzlies (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Clay County (Clay, WV). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 0-9 record.
