The Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] Pirates basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes to 46 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellendale for a non-league contest on Friday, February 4. Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 48-25 non-league loss to Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-12.
The Loboes (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] edged Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND), 59-48, in a league contest.
