Virginia High School Basketball - Castlewood can't hold off Eastside [Coeburn/St. Paul]
February 3, 2022: Castlewood, VA 24224 The Eastside [Coeburn/St. Paul] Spartans basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Castlewood Blue Devils to 27 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Walker for a non-league contest on Friday, February 11. Eastside [Coeburn/St. Paul] will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 48-42 non-league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-4.
The Blue Devils (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Thomas Walker was nudged by Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA), 50-21, in a non-league contest.
