Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE), 50-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Scottsbluff upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Sidney (Sidney, NE) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Sidney won 68-48 in their recent non-league bout against Gering (Gering, NE)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Alliance will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record.
