The Girard Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Anderson County Bulldogs to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Trojans enter the Pioneer contest with a 4-10 record.
