The Western Warriors basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Butler Bears to 76 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Western will battle a Trojans team coming off a 67-48 league loss to Moore (Louisville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 7-16.

The Bears (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Louisville, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record.
