The Eagles now possess a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league battle on Monday, February 6. Keota will battle a Huskies team coming off a 71-29 league loss to Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-15.
The Comets (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Hawks come into the SEI - South battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Central Lee dropped by Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA), 60-34, in a league battle.
