The Clear Spring Blazers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners to 45 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blazers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allegany for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Clear Spring will battle a Campers team coming off a 58-53 non-league loss to Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Campers record now stands at 11-5.

The Miners (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels enter the Appalachian contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Fort Hill ran past Northern (Accident, MD), 77-46, in a league contest.
