February 3, 2023: Otis, CO 80743 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lone Star Longhorns (Otis, CO) and the visiting Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO), saw Lone Star's basketball squad wallop Deer Trail by a tally of 70-28.
With the victory, Lone Star improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Briggsdale (Briggsdale, CO) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Briggsdale won 50-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Front Range Baptist (Fort Collins, CO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Byers Bulldogs (Byers, CO) in a 2A/1A Union Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Deer Trail will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 59-55 league loss to Stratton (Stratton, CO).
