The Dickson Comets basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Lone Grove Longhorns to 43 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a Lake Country contest on Tuesday, February 7. Dickson will meet a Indians team coming off a 41-36 league loss to Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.

The Longhorns (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Madill (Madill, OK). The Wildcats enter the Lake Country contest with a 15-3 record.
