West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg South fells Greenbrier East
February 3, 2023: Parkersburg, WV 26101 Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), 78-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Parkersburg South upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Shady Spring won 60-52 in their recent non-league bout against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Greenbrier East will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV).
