In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hanover Wildcats basketball team scored a good 53-40 triumph over the Republic County Buffaloes.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) in a Twin Valley match, on Tuesday, February 7. Hanover will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 14-2 record after their 52-35 non-league win over Doniphan West (Highland, KS).

With the defeat, Republic County moves to 3-12 on the year. The Buffaloes host Clay Center (Clay Center, KS) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 7.
