North Carolina High School Basketball - North Lenoir thwarts James Kenan
February 3, 2023: LaGrange, NC 28551 The North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC), 49-39 in Friday's league test.
The Hawks (10-11) will now prepare for their test against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils go into the 2A Conference 6 test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, South Lenoir went down by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 52-48, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Onslow for a 2A Conference 6 test on Tuesday, February 7. James Kenan will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 59-50 league win over South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 12-9.
