February 3, 2023: Wellston, OK 74881 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wellston Tigers (Wellston, OK) and the visiting Minco Bulldogs (Minco, OK), saw Wellston's basketball squad overcome Minco by a tally of 82-72.
With the victory, Wellston improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Riverfield Country Day (Tulsa, OK) to confront the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Riverfield Country Day won 66-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Ninnekah Owls (Ninnekah, OK) in a Grady County challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Minco will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record.
