South Dakota High School Basketball - Mitchell overwhelms Sturgis Brown
February 3, 2023: Mitchell, SD 57301 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) and the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), saw Mitchell's basketball squad wallop Sturgis Brown by a tally of 57-31.
With the victory, Mitchell improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Kernels host Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to confront the Spartans in a AA challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Spearfish lost 65-58 in their recent league challenge against Huron (Huron, SD)
Next up, the Scoopers confront the Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) in a AA challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Sturgis Brown will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 65-58 league win over Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
