The Piedmont Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Shawnee Wolves to 41 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del City for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Piedmont will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-45 non-league loss to Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Wolves (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Guthrie (Guthrie, OK). The Bluejays enter the Suburban contest with a 1-5 record.
